Our promise
Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer buying online in the EU, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To withdraw, email us at theteam@magneticscreens.nl with your order number before that period ends. You then have a further 14 days to send the goods back.
You may examine the goods at home the way you would in a shop. If you use them beyond that and their value drops as a result, we may deduct that loss of value from your refund. We refund the price you paid, including standard delivery, within 14 days of receiving the goods back or of proof that you have sent them. You cover the cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise or the item is faulty.
A plain email is enough to withdraw. If you would rather use the EU model withdrawal form, email us and we will send it to you.
Screens we make to your measurements
If we make a screen to the measurements you give us, for example through our quote service, it is made to your own specification. By law the right of withdrawal does not apply to it once we have started making it. We say this on the quote form too, so you know before you order. If anything is wrong with a made-to-measure item, just contact us: faulty or incorrect goods are always put right.
Screens you cut down yourself
A screen supplied in a standard size can be withdrawn under the rules above, even after unpacking. If you cut it to your own window first, you keep the right of withdrawal, but the loss of value is yours to bear and can amount to the full price. So talk to us before you reach for the scissors.
Faulty or incorrect items
If your order arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, contact us and we will put it right at no cost to you. We cover return costs for faulty items.
How to return
Email us with your order number and we will send you return instructions. Once the goods are back with us and checked, we process your refund.
Refund timing
Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 working days of us receiving and checking the return, and always within the timeframes above.
